Our Story

Where to Stay
We recommend staying at the Hyatt hotel for convenience. However, there are many hotels in downtown Austin to choose from, with access to restaurants, nightlife, and local attractions.
The Hyatt is set on 400 acres of scenic Texas countryside, offering a wide range of activities and outdoor adventures for guests of all ages. The resort features the Crooked River Water Park with a 1,000-foot lazy river, waterslides, multiple pools, cabanas, and hot tubs, along with an award-winning spa, championship golf course, and eight on-site restaurants and bars. Guests can also enjoy horseback riding, kayaking, archery and shooting classes, nature trails, a petting zoo, and family programs.

Getting Here

Getting In
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) — This is the primary and most convenient airport for all guests.
The resort is approximately 13 miles (about a 20-minute drive) from the airport.
Public Transportation & Getting Around
There are plenty of ways to get around! You'll find several car rental options at the airport, and Lyft and Uber are both affordable in Austin.
Waymo: Note — Waymo, a driverless taxi, is often booked through Uber. Don't be alarmed if you order an Uber and it shows up without a driver! They are quite safe.
Car Rentals: If you plan to explore Austin or the nearby hill country towns of Dripping Springs or Bastrop, major agencies like Hertz, Enterprise, and Avis are located directly at the airport terminal.
Please note that the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines does not provide a complimentary shuttle to or from the airport.
Our Favourite Restaurants

- Odd Duck — Odd Duck — seasonal farm-to-table small plates, creative Austin vibes
- Franklin Barbecue — a local favorite, often called the best barbecue in the universe
- Torchy's Tacos — a must-try taco tour; Austin runs on tacos! Or try and local taco truck
- Proud Mary Coffee — brunch-style café known for amazing coffee, brunch plates, and a lively Austin vibe
- East 6th Street - if planning to venture downtown, closer to the venue with lots of amazing food options
While the resort offers a variet of cuisine, Austin is known for its food! It would be impossible to include everything, but here are a few of our favorite spots:
